ea777 Ways of the Qilin — 6 Reels in the Realm of the Mythological Qilin
Based on the story of the Qilin, a sacred creature from Chinese mythology, this game is one of the best-looking slots available at ea777. With 6 reels, 4 rows, and 4,096 ways to win, every spin brings a new opportunity.
The Qilin's Mythological World and Game Overview
The game's theme, visual design, and who made it — all at a glance.
Ways of the Qilin is made by PG Soft — a developer with a distinct edge in Asian-themed slots. The Qilin is a mythological creature from Chinese legend, regarded as a symbol of good fortune and prosperity. The game's background shows an ancient temple courtyard bathed in golden light — as if the Qilin's glow burns through the deep blue of the night.
The game's grid is made up of 6 reels and 4 rows, offering 4,096 ways to win at once — there are no fixed paylines; instead, a win is counted whenever the same type of symbol lands on adjacent reels. Symbols include the Qilin itself (the highest-value symbol), golden ornaments, lanterns, a dragon, and lower-value card symbols.
ea777's slots section has many more PG Soft games, but Ways of the Qilin stands apart with its 6-reel structure and Qilin interactive features.
From Bet to Win — How a Spin Works
Select Your Bet
Set your bet amount in the panel at the bottom of the game. It typically starts from a minimum bet and can be increased in steps. One bet applies to one spin.
Bet SetupWin with 4,096 Ways
Instead of counting paylines, a win happens when the same symbol lands on consecutive reels from left to right. The more symbols in a row, the bigger the reward. The Qilin symbol gives the highest payout.
Ways MechanicBonus Round
Landing three or more scatter symbols triggers the free spins bonus. During the bonus round, multipliers can be added, which can multiply winnings many times over.
Free SpinsWild and Special Symbols
Wild symbols can substitute for any regular symbol and increase the chance of winning. Some spins also feature stacked Wilds, which can cover an entire reel.
Wild MechanicMaximum Win
The maximum possible win in Ways of the Qilin can reach up to 2,000 times the bet — especially when multipliers are active during the free spins bonus.
Max WinWhich Type of Player Is This Game For
Ways of the Qilin is a medium-to-high volatility game. Volatility refers to the pattern of wins — low volatility means smaller wins come more frequently, while higher volatility means wins may come less often but tend to be larger when they do. Players who are comfortable with patience will find this game more suitable.
In terms of budget: This game suits those who can set aside a moderate fixed amount per session. Playing a high-volatility game on a very small budget carries risk, because your balance can decline while waiting for a bonus round to hit.
Session length: In a short session you may not get the full experience this game offers. A longer session gives the bonus feature more chance to trigger. That said, always set a budget and do not go beyond it.
For new players: If you are playing slots for the first time, you can check ea777's slot game list and start with a lower-volatility game first. You can then move on to Ways of the Qilin gradually.
Some Useful Tips Before You Start
-
Try demo mode first
Ways of the Qilin can be played in demo or free-play mode at ea777. This lets you understand the game mechanics, bonus triggers, and payout frequency without spending real money. Once you feel comfortable in demo, then move to real-money play. -
Set your session budget in advance
Set aside a specific amount for each game session — only what you are comfortable losing. Players with a moderate budget can use smaller bets to play longer sessions. -
Stick to a stop limit
After a win, set a target — for example, decide in advance to stop once you double your deposit. Set a loss limit as well, and take a break if you reach it. -
Keep screen brightness comfortable when playing on mobile
PG Soft games look great on mobile. When playing in low light, keep display brightness at a comfortable level and remember to take breaks to avoid eye strain. -
Be careful with autoplay
The autoplay feature is convenient, but time and money can pass quickly with it. Set a loss limit on autoplay so it stops automatically once a set amount has been lost.
Remember Responsible Gaming
Slots are for entertainment — not as a guaranteed source of income. Following the responsible gaming guidelines at ea777 is important for everyone.
Common Misconceptions About Slots
Many people hold certain beliefs about slots that are not accurate. Knowing these will help you play with a clearer head.
"The game hasn't paid out in a long time, so it will soon"
This is known as the "gambler's fallacy." Every spin is completely independent and has no connection to the result of any previous spin. Slots run on an RNG (Random Number Generator) — a previous loss does not increase the chance of a win on the next spin.
"There is a special trick to trigger the bonus round"
Whether the bonus triggers is entirely random. No bet pattern, timing, or game speed has any effect on it. Anyone can get the bonus on any spin — it cannot be controlled.
"Raising your bet after a loss will recover your losses"
Loss chasing — gradually increasing bets to recover losses — is highly risky. It can deplete your budget in a short time. Each spin is a fresh event on its own; no future spin "compensates" for a previous loss.
RTP applies only over the long term
RTP represents the percentage a game returns across millions of spins in total — it is not a guarantee for any single session. Any outcome is possible within one session. A good RTP means the statistics are favourable over the long run, but it does not apply directly to a short session.
How ea777 Compares to Other Slots
ea777's slot collection includes many types of games — some in the classic 5-reel payline format, some in megaways, and some with cascading reels. The 6-reel × 4-row structure of Ways of the Qilin sets it apart from the standard 5-reel slot.
For example, Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza use cascading reels, where winning symbols are removed and new ones fall in. Nolimit City's San Quentin xWays and Fire in the Hole xBomb are much higher volatility, with reel structures that change each spin.
The 4,096-ways system in Ways of the Qilin is a solid middle-ground option at medium volatility — similar in some ways to PG Soft's own Mahjong Ways, but different in theme and features. Bonus rounds in this game tend to come around fairly regularly.
